Paul Dean "Butch" Cummins, 42, son of John and Viola Cummins, was born July 18, 1946, in Ohio. He died July 25, 1988, at the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston following a massive heart attack. He married Charlotte Pierce on August 22, 1967. They had one son. His parents, grandparents, a half brother and sister preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte of St. Louis; his son Johnny Paul of St. Louis; a daughter LeAndra Wade of St. Louis; one sister Sondra Cummins of Licking; a half sister Jeaneane of Licking; four half brothers, Donnie Barnhart of St. Louis; Jack Barnhart of Idaho, Jerry Barnhart of California; and Jim Barnhart of Arizona. He was a 1964 graduate of Houston High School. Services were Wednesday at the Success Baptist Church with the Rev. Sheldon Zook officiating. Burial was in the Smith Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
