Linda Sue Willson

Linda Sue Willson, age 72, daughter of Robert and Eugenia (Smith) Carter ws born July 5, 1946 in Waynesville, MO. She passed away December 29, 2018 in Pacific, MO.

Linda grew up in Houston, MO and graduated from Houston High School with the class of 1964. She married Lynn Willson January 22, 1966 and to this union two sons were born, Anthony and Todd.

She was a member of Houston First Baptist Church while living in Houston. Linda and Lynn moved to Pacific, MO where Linda worked as a secretary for the Pacific Meramec Valley R-3 School District for twenty-six years before retiring.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Carter and a brother,  Larry Carter. Surviving is her husband of almost 53 years. Lynn Willson of the home in Pacific, MO; her sons, Anthony Willson and wife Maria of Pacific, MO; Todd Willson and wife Sandi of Ballwin, MO and three grandchildren, China, Cara and Nathaniel who were the light of her life; a brother Dal Thomas Carter and wife Lieeila of Hartshorn, MO; and a sister, Robin Vaughn and husband Michael of Lonedell, MO.

Linda enjoyed many interests and hobbies, mainly her grandchildren, but she also enjoyed sewing, quilting, camping, swimming, going to the river, country music and traveling with Lynn.  She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear of Linda's passing. She was a classmate of mine. She was a very nice person and a lot if fun. God bless her family at this sad time.

Barbara & I are saddened by the passing of Linda, & we send our loving thoughts, prayers & condolences to her family & close friends.  The Lord is good to us in life & in death.  We thank Him for giving Linda life & for taking her to His Kingdom of Heaven where she will have eternal life. MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO ALL OF LINDAS FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I WAS VERY SADDENED TO RECEIVE THE NEWS OF HER PASSING WHEN I RETURNED HOME FROM HOUSTON LAST NIGHT. HAD I CHECKED MY EMAIL EARLIER, I MAY HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ATTEND SERVICES. I KNOW SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY ALL.
